The Beginning
What are we doing here?
AKOPYAN BAND started with someone once saying, “let’s give it a try” - and it just kept going. Then came the concerts, our own sound, and the feeling that it’s all just beginning.
Hold on! Looks like another powerful volcano has emerged - one that’s about to shake the musical ground!
Meet Our Team
There are no random people here. The random ones simply don’t stay.
  • VALERIJ
    DRUMMER
Keeps everything on the edge of falling apart - and makes sure it doesn’t. The rhythm that holds the whole sound together, and an energy you can’t ignore.
  • JANA
    VOCALIST
The voice that ties everything together. Not just singing - leading, living through it, and setting the tone for everything that happens.
  • VLADISLAV
    GUITARIST
Creates mood and space between the sounds. Where density, tension, and character appear - that’s his work.
  • KONSTANTIN
    BASS GUITARIST
Not always in the spotlight, but nothing works without it. Depth, weight, and that very foundation you feel, not just hear.
  • ANDREJ
    KEYBOARDIST
Adds layers and atmosphere that make the sound wider and deeper. Wherever there’s dimension and nuance - he’s already shaped it.
WE ARE
a dynamic quintet ensemble from Riga that blends the soul of blues-rock with the groove of funk and the accessibility of modern pop. Known for their vibrant stage presence and sophisticated musicianship, the band delivers a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly contemporary.
Fronted by charismatic vocals and driven by tight rhythms, AkopyanBand creates an immersive live experience where heartfelt melodies meet infectious grooves.
Each member brings a unique musical background, resulting in a colorful mix of styles that seamlessly merge emotion, energy, and technical expression.

THE VISION ARRIVES

"Music should grab you, not politely please you."
Since their formation, the group has built a loyal following across Latvia’s live music scene, performing at local clubs and cultural events.
With original songs that explore themes of love, freedom, and connection, AkopyanBand brings musical emotions and messages to their listeners.
Whether on stage or in the studio, AkopyanBand embodies a simple mission — to make music that moves people, body and soul.
